About Me:

I am an established commercial deal shaper and negotiator with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and more recently moved into leading sales from origination to contract.

I enjoy problem-solving and combining conceptual/strategic thinking, grasping sufficient detail to enable a contract to deliver value for money at appropriate margins or a win-win position in dispute resolution.

I bring flexibility, adaptability, creativity, and collaboration across business functions, and I am a strong leader and collaborative team player. I have a wealth of experience in different industry sectors, coupled with a good understanding of the digital landscape, and I am able to adapt to different client environments and business models.

Who are the entrepreneur/s you've mentored? And what did you work on together?

I worked with Enekpen Eke and Sepha Kung'u.

Enekpen Eke, founder of The Beauty of I, we focused on refining her business proposal and developing a structured plan. Our regular weekly sessions allowed me to provide feedback and ensure clear, actionable steps. Over nine months, we sharpened her proposal, clarified her messaging, and worked on pricing and business planning.

For Sepha Kung'u, a textile designer blending African heritage with a passion for diversity and sustainability, I served as a sounding board and provided oversight. Although her digital presence and USP were already strong, I offered insight from a different perspective and maintained ongoing communication as she navigated the market from Kenya.

How were you able to help them move their business forward?

With Enekpen I have regular weekly sessions, where I am essentially a sounding board to try things out, for Enekpen her business is really all about her so it was important to really get to know her, we initially worked on the outline of the business and then agreed on the next steps , which we would review in the next session.

I also provided a structure, a clear plan to the desired outcome in small steps so it wasn't too overwhelming and ensuring accountability for actions, which was very easy with Enekpen as she is really passionate about moving her business forward and willing to take ownership.
Over the course of nine months, I have helped Enekpen sharpen the structure of her proposal, ensuring clear messaging, thinking about her story and what makes her business unique. I reviewed and helped edit the proposal Enekpen developed, whilst encouraging Enekpen to think about her market and potential buyers.

We are now working on shaping the pricing structure and business plan.
