For more than 25 years, Angela Harvey has dedicated her career to helping others grow.
But despite years of professional success, she found herself asking a difficult question:
Who was taking care of her?
As she began applying her own coaching principles to her personal life, Angela realized something powerful. Many women, especially professional women of color, had been taught how to succeed at work but never how to care for themselves along the way.
That realization became the foundation for The SHIFT Method.
Angela shared that many women have been conditioned to care for everyone else while neglecting themselves. They excel in their careers yet struggle with self-care, healing, and finding joy outside of their accomplishments.
This isn't a personal failure.
It's a gap that has existed for generations.
Through workshops, keynote presentations, retreats, virtual classes, and coaching, Angie Harvey Speaks helps women intentionally reconnect with themselves.
The SHIFT Method teaches participants to cultivate self-awareness, heal with purpose, practice intentional growth, and build lasting fulfillment.
Angela's vision extends far beyond her own workshops.
With support from the Friends & Family Fund, she plans to develop a facilitator certification program, allowing others to bring The SHIFT Method into communities, workplaces, and organizations she could never reach alone.

This July, that perseverance paid off as she was named the Friends & Family Fund Grant Winner, proving that growth often begins just beyond our greatest setbacks.
With the support of the Friends & Family Fund Grant, Angela will begin building the next chapter of The SHIFT Method. The funding will help develop the curriculum, secure trademarks, launch a facilitator certification program, and create the platform needed to bring the program to more women.
