Grant Winner Tiffany Barnes

Written by Sky's the Limit | 23 Sep 2025

Every month, Sky’s the Limit brings together a community of dreamers, doers, and supporters for the Friends & Family Pitch Competition. It’s not just about pitching a business idea. It’s about creating space for entrepreneurs to share their vision, inspire others, and rally support as they grow. At the end of the day, one entrepreneur walks away with a $2,500 grant, but everyone leaves with something even bigger: belief in what’s possible. These grants are more than just a financial boost—they're a signal of belief in bold ideas and underestimated founders.

This month, the spotlight belongs to Tiffany Barnes, founder of Tiny Town Adventurez Play Cafe in Aubrey, Texas. Tiffany’s pitch rose to the top thanks to her passion for building a joyful, inclusive space for families and her ability to paint a clear picture of the impact her business creates.

Tiny Town Adventurez Play Cafe

Tiny Town Adventurez is more than just a play cafe. It is a family-owned boutique indoor play space designed for children ages 9 months to 8 years, complete with soft play areas, an imaginative pretend play village, sensory-friendly rooms, and a cozy café where parents can relax. Tiffany’s vision is rooted in connection, whether it is sparking creativity in kids, giving parents a place to recharge, or building a stronger community.

The Friends and Family Fund Grant: How It Works

The Friends and Family Fund provides early-stage funding to underrepresented entrepreneurs who are building businesses with purpose. Each month, Sky’s the Limit awards up to $2,500 through a community-powered pitch process. To date, more than $500,000 in grants have been awarded to help founders grow their vision.
