We’re proud to share January’s Grant Winner: Telly Arnold, founder of TLA Group LLC, a Houston-based transportation business on a mission to move more than just goods—she’s moving people toward opportunity.

Building a Business That Builds People

Telly Arnold launched TLA Group LLC with a powerful purpose: to provide employment for her son. But what started as a personal mission has grown into a community-driven enterprise.

With over a decade of experience in accounts receivable and credit management—and backed by an MBA from Texas Woman’s University—Telly took a leap in 2023 into the box truck industry. Today, her business provides both local and regional delivery services, with a second truck now operating on the road. She’s also laying the groundwork to expand into sprinter van services and build a fleet that serves more people, more efficiently.

But logistics is just the vehicle. Her true mission? Giving second chances.

Fueling Growth Through Mentorship and Community

With her grant funding, Telly plans to invest in scaling operations, including maintenance and equipment needs to keep her fleet on the road and growing. But she’s also deeply committed to launching mentorship and training programs for young adults interested in logistics—particularly those looking for a new path forward.

On Sky’s the Limit, Telly has connected with mentors to support her goals in scaling operations, ensuring compliance, and building partnerships with brokers, shippers, and fleet owners. Her focus on mentorship, growth, and service makes her a standout example of what happens when entrepreneurship meets purpose.
