We’re proud to share this April Friends and Family Fund Grant Winner: Christina Proctor, founder of Education My Way, an educational consulting company dedicated to empowering parents and educators to navigate the special education process with confidence. Christina’s mission is simple but powerful: to make inclusion the standard and ensure every student gets the support they need to thrive.
Christina launched Education My Way to bridge the gap between families and schools in the often overwhelming world of special education. With her background in compliance, policy studies, and instructional design, she offers tailored services including IEP/ARD reviews, advocacy, and professional development training.
Her work is deeply personal; she has seen firsthand how parents often feel lost or unheard in meetings and how students can be underserved without strong advocacy. Education My Way equips families with the tools, language, and confidence to actively participate in their child’s educational journey.
With her grant, Christina plans to expand outreach and refine service offerings for parents and school districts. Her next steps include enhancing advocacy resources, growing her client base, and scaling professional development training for educators. The funding will help her establish a stronger business foundation and invest in the tools needed to reach more families who need support.
